Yes, that's right. Sonia turns 27 today. She only wants to be friends with people older than her from now on, so I guess that means I'm out. But seriously folks, it was nice to ride in to work today with her. We talked about the business and certain people in it. If you know me, you know who I'm talking about.
She rudely disrespected Sonia's customers and then had the balls to reprimand Sonia for her lack of a sale. She utterly disregarded the deal Sonia had made with a client. And she wonders why she's not connecting with all of us? Duh. I do understand where she's coming from. She's losing money due to the commissions restructure and our office hasn't been making big money like it could be. But to give a client an ultimatum for his payment when Sonia clearly made a deal with him on when to pay, that's just disrespectful. She's obsessed with numbers. It's a pity, because she could pull in so much money for us. She's a good saleswoman, but...
I finally got word from Norway. So, hopefully I'll have a plane ticket this time next week. I'm calling the Consulate tomorrow to check on the permit. Exciting! It's actually happening. And I'm essentially packed for Wisconsin, which will be so much fun. Today, tomorrow and then no more work! Not even a car accident can keep me from being happy right now....
Oh, I didn't tell you? Yeah, crashed into the backside of a truck Tuesday coming home. I tried to change lanes and he stopped. Turned my head back around and... bam. I'm ok, but my headlight and grille aren't. Actually, my grille is on the side of the freeway right now collecting rubber dust. You can tell how happy I am about that.
Smile! It keeps you distracted from sadness.
