What is... (botchulism!) salmonella?

Have you seen the old-ish ads for the Game Show Network? The ones where you see all these people saying "botchulism" and then finally the guy on TV answering a question wrong with "salmonella"? And then the tagline: You know you know....

WTF??!!

I'm the salmonella guy! Not the all-knowing botchulism public!

The YFU crew in Denmark sent the schedule for this weekend's Volunteer Seminar on Nordic Identity. Finally! This is great, except that we have to prepare something for Saturday night's "Global Village"... Something Norwegian and interesting. And by that, I mean interesting for other Nordic people. Dude, they already know what's Norwegian! Because they live in Sweden, Denmark and Finland! Duh! So, of course, I'm freaking out about it in this blog instead of calling Maja or Linda to help me figure things out. Both of them are coming with to the seminar and live in Oslo. Yes, Maja did say she wanted to help if necessary... (exploit, exploit!)

Oh! And! Sabine emailed me today to tell me she can't come! WHY? She said she already told Trond, but I already booked her plane ticket and Trond has to pay for it and he didn't say squat!

Did I mention yesterday was my worst day at work so far? I had coffee in order to wake up, got confused about the travel (which I'm way ahead on anyway), got even more confused about the travel when Nina suggested we use this other vendor for the flights to Australia because they also do the visa paperwork (Huh? I already booked the flights to Australia!) and then nearly cried when Nina and I walked to buy lunch. Plus, she's leaving next month! Yeah, another job! Only for nine months while this lady takes maternity leave - she had her baby last week - but it means I might have to do some stuff on my own! This is not possible!

I think I will call Maja and see if she can come down today and we can plan something for Denmark....

See... this always happens. Right before something cool, something frustrating happens!
