My superhero today came in the form of two round dark pink pills, it had a cape with a big A on it. I was made happy.
But opening the package surrounding my superhero was not so super. There was no flap to open the cardboard outside, so I just demolished it like five-year olds do to Christmas present wrapping paper. But then came the second rub: square plastic package and directions "Fold back on dotted line, tear arrow or use scissors". Now the dotted line is triangular to the corner and the arrow is perpendicular to the dotted line. You can see by my current language that math and brain cells were involved in opening the package. Both of which I lack when ginormous headaches abound.
My superhero had a sidekick by the name of Kim, who with her superhuman agility and strength (read: teeth) was able to bring me into contact with A - superhero to graduate students everywhere! A also brings lots of comfort to moms of toddlers, teachers of toddlers, and anyone else who might come into close proximity of a toddler. Sorry April, but they suck sometimes. Ok, perhaps they don't suck, but their high-energy, high-pitched neurotic behavior does.
In other news, my lower back has flashed itself forward to my eighth decade. Sitting for long periods of time is painful, which makes school fun!
