This is me taking a picture of Shawna, Karen, and Nicole taking a picture of everyone in front of the Capitol. We thought we could take a free tour, but there were too many of us. So, we walked around and did the self-guided thing.
But there's nothing open in Sacramento on Saturdays. Even the Starbucks and Subways are closed. When have you ever seen a Starbucks closed on a Saturday? Aparently, government goes far in this town....
We also walked down to Old Sacramento, which is like a couple blocks of wooden sidewalks, unique shops (American Indian crafts, kite shops, tea and coffee rooms, etc.), and it's right on the river so you can visit the steamboats.

Here are all the kids. All 26 of them. They look harmless, right? Looks can be deceiving.
Tomorrow, we check out of this fantastic hostel (which I'll post pics of next time). And we're going ice skating. So, I'll also try to post pics of us falling on our asses. Should be good.
