Yes indeed friends! I am in Portland as I write this! Jen, in the above picture, made a chastity belt for me for this weekend. Didn't work. Again, I met and hooked up with one of Chris' friends, also named Chris. His nickname is Schwabi. He's good people. Most of Chris' friends are.
Jen just rolled her eyes whenever I smile about him. Physical stats: age 31, a few inches taller than me, blond short hair, blue-green eyes, tattoos! He has this super cool tat on his left arm, a sun and blue universe stuff. I'll have to take a picture of it and post it. But he just started to get a fat scarab tat on his chest. Props for tats on hurtful places.
This is Schwabi and me. Not a bad picture for him, as he says he's unphotogenic. But I'll either post some more pics or put up a link to them in a slideshow. There were a lot of good-time pics from last night. We started at a bar by Schwabi's place, called Goodfoot (I think), which had local art on the walls and an awesome organic red beer called..... Leafstone... or something like that. It was yummy.
Here's Schwabi (which he hates being called), but I don't want to confuse my audience because there are two Chris's here, carrying some drinks to our table. The guy in the next booth pulled some chairs in front of him before I took this shot. Then the guy came over and introduced himself, a local sculptor. He was cool. We just said hi, but the bar was cool. This was our second bar of the night, with a country band playing. Name of band: Power of Country. Right.
Here's Chris, Jen's Chris. He's having a little elitist Grey Poupon moment apparently. I don't have any normal shots of him because he loves making faces. He's got a cute smile though, I wish I had a pic of him not making a face. But he's cool. When we got back to Schwabi's place, Chris and I were still sobering up and we were playing patty-cake. He couldn't quite get it. Schwabi's place is cool because of the view. You can see both Mount Hood and Mount Saint Helens from his windows.
This is me in Schwabi's beanie hat. Schwabi put on my wool sweater as we left too. It was too metro for him, but he didn't care. It was a pretty fun night. Just joking and shooting the you-know-what. And drinking of course. We went out to breakfast this morning and had the worst service ever. It was self seating, which means they don't know who's new or not. Plus, they only had like two waitresses for the whole place, which could seat about sixty people easily. We ordered coffee and waited at least fifteen minutes for it. And this place was no crowded either. But the coffee and food was so good. They called their hash brown potatoes "homies", as in home fries. But they were yummers. :)
Yep, I leave in the morning, but Schwabi's coming over to Jen and Chris's place tonight so that Chris and him can go to work together tomorrow. Hopefully, if I get the job in Seattle this summer, I can have the car and come down to Portland on some weekends. I asked Schwabi if he could teach me how to surf. We'll see how that goes. Wouldn't those be great pictures?
