Vote for whoever you want, but PLEASE use your democratically-given right to vote for your representatives/senators/favorite proposition or measure!!!!!
It's a big deal! How you vote locally will affect what happens on a national level. Will the Dems take control of the Congress? I don't know. But I hope so. I also hope we have some great candidates for president come 2008. John McCain, anyone? I know, he's a Republican..... But he's fair. And a bit smarter than Bush.

Ok, a lot smarter than Bush. Come on, you've got to agree that anyone would be better than Bush! But I won't hold it against all Republicans that Bush is the worst representative of their party in a long time. And it's not like I'm seeing any Democrats who might hold their own come campaign time. Anyone remember the Dean-scream heard round the world? Don't screw this up Dems! And if you're gonna take Congress, try to balance Bush out for his last two years. Not that two years can make a huge difference, but I'm a believer deep down.
And it's not that I don't like Nancy Pelosi.... I just don't appreciate all of her opinions. But how kick ass would it be if she became Speaker! You know you want it! Left-winger female as third in line to the presidency....? Sweet! Now all I need is a black man to run for president and have a fighting chance. Obama... where are you?
