Lola, but not the showgirl...

I now have red highlights in my short haircut. My hair only falls just below my chin and the red is very burnt copper red. Or maybe even bright black cherry. Both of those descriptions don't settle well with me, as it's not really the color. But you get the idea. Em called me Lola. As in Lola Rennt. Except that because I've got highlights, you can still see my dark brown hair amidst the red. It's different and it's a good thing. I need to have something different going into Norway.

Speaking of, I'll be hearing back soon about where I'm staying and what the family is like. And I'll have the whole weekend to go around Oslo and see things, either by myself or with my family. We'll see how friendly they are. Most Norwegians are very friendly and generous when it comes to guests, so I'm expecting a very warm welcome. But that will be nice to have three days to just settle in and start feeling at home. And I've checked the weather... not too bad. Just like Wisconsin in many ways. Although probably more windy since Oslo is on water. So, there's no need for me to take my big parka. It'll only get warmer. But I am taking my kigul for rainy weather. Plus, it's a cute kigul.

That's kinda it for my life right now. Thayne still hasn't spoken to me since the voice message I left for him a couple days ago. I know I am obsessing about this, but he knows me well. He's handled this obsession before, even though I am worried about what he's thinking right now. About me. But I'm just going to shut up and stop worrying because he's probably busy, next week is Spring Break. Lots to do.

Shutting up now.... until I crack and try calling him again. I'm hopeless.
