Or at least that's what it feels like. I'm pretty sure it isn't mono, because I can actually pay attention in class and participate coherently. Plus, my glands aren't swollen. But still, ironic that after kissing a guy I'm left with this tired-don't-want-to-work feeling.
But I am determined to work today. I'm already up, about to eat my breakfast, and ready to hit the books. I have a lot of catch-up to do and I'm so not going to procrastinate too much this semester. I have midterms in how few weeks!
And the biggest news so far: I got a job!! I had an interview at Coldwell Banker just over a week ago and they finally hired me yesterday. I start tomorrow. Money!! This makes me happy! And the fact that it seems like a cool place to work. My official title is administrative assistant. What I'm exactly doing at this job, I'm only somewhat sure. Definitive stuff like making the posters for the real estate agents and providing computer assistance. But then there's stuff like ordering office supplies, which actually my "boss" does, and light reception work, like when the receptionist calls in sick or is out of the office for more than her lunch break. I'll find out more tomorrow.
But the best part of the whole job? I get to wear jeans. Obviously not ragged jeans with scruffy shirt, but still.... I don't have to worry about buying new clothes. No flip flops or sneakers as well, but as long as I'm in comfy jeans I will be a happy camper. Although, I probably shouldn't wear jeans everyday. So I do get to use my nice pants that I already own.
And!! And... It's in the Sunset! So, when we move up to the city, I might not have to drive to work. Doesn't that sound lovely... :) Well, it does to me.
