Yesterday was my last class for the semester! Yeah! It doesn't mean the fun isn't over, as I still have an exam and a paper, but.... it was nice to sit back and not take notes and have some food.
We did a potluck thing, where we brought food from our respective target cultures. It's the teaching methodolgy class, so we have Chinese teachers, Spanish teachers, Italian teachers, etc. So, there was Chinese food, Spanish food, etc. I made Radler, which is light ale mixed with lemonade (and European lemonade, like Sprite) and it was yummy. Not too bitter and not too syrupy.
Nobody drank it.
Since I had to mix Sprite with the beer, I bought an extra liter of Sprite also. Especially if it went a little flat or people needed it sweeter. Well, the Sprite went super quick. And there's no excuse for the no-alcohol thing because there was Heineken, white and red wine, and prosecco. And the prosecco was gone just like my Sprite. At least I didn't make food. Taking home extra food is a little harder than bringing home beer.
