Linda and I just watched Garden State. Brought back some memories. Em, I'm thinking of you. The first time I saw it, Em, Therese and I went to Burlingame and saw it in the theater. Huge screen, lots of seats, seven people including us watching. Kinda sad. But it's not a popular theater. I hope it stays open. It has all the more indie films - Kinsey, I am Sam, stuff like that.
Anyway, it's Linda's new favorite movie. Duh, of course. I told her she has to have the soundtrack. Or at least download all the songs. She want to be a producer, film or television, so I convinced her to come to SFSU for an MFA. Only took me a couple hours or so. I'm so good. But I think she's definitely thinking about it. Even if it's not SFSU, she wants to come to San Francisco and study. So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for her. She deserves it.
We rented the flick, so I finally got to see bloopers and behind the scenes stuff. Very cool, especially the bloopers where the dog is humping his leg. The codeword for the dog to start humping is either "Who's your bitch" or "Love him up", so I'm gonna have that in my head for a while. We made boller and cinnamon rolls, plus the pizza I ate for lunch. I'm so exploding right now. I hope she doesn't mind cleaning up after me. I'm sure I'll make a big mess. :)
Well, I have to go work now - the airport. I hate it, mostly because I should just go home and lounge around and watch tv. Normal Sunday. Then again, I stayed in my pajamas all day yesterday, so I should be happy I'm out and about today. Staying at home the whole weekend - done that too many times since I've been here. I'm so lazy and boring. Except for when I'm not.
Airport here I come.
